Privacy and governance

How rltnship is built so a company can understand its client relationships without collecting its people’s conversations.

The design in four rules

  1. 01

    Conversations stay with the person

Email, chat and call content is read and kept on the employee’s own computer, under their sign-in.

  2. 02

    Management gets results, not records

Management sees every client’s score, reasons and revenue at risk. Messages, recordings, transcripts and the notes drawn from them reach only the people assigned to that client.

  3. 03

Clients are scored, people are not

Signals describe the client relationship. rltnship does not rate or rank employees or infer their emotions. Figures about a person’s own calls are shown only to them.

  4. 04

    Each person stays in control

Every channel is opt-in per person, WhatsApp included, and any call can be skipped.

Privacy and governance

For leadership

Centralising staff email, calls and WhatsApp creates an archive you then have to secure, retain, search for disclosure requests and justify to staff and regulators. rltnship avoids building it: the company sees each client’s health and what to do about it, and the content stays where it already was.

For your staff

Your conversations stay on your computer. You choose what rltnship can read and can turn any channel off. Your team sees a client’s score and the reasons in plain words; it does not see your messages, your recordings or the quotes behind them.

For your clients

Their emails and calls are not sent to another company’s servers to be analysed. Calls are only recorded when someone presses Start AI notes, and there is no bot in the meeting. Tell clients you take AI notes, as you would with any notetaker. rltnship gives you a short notice to share on the call and a line for your calendar invites.

What stays, and what syncs

The exact categories, by where they live

Stays on the device

  • Email bodies and attachments
  • WhatsApp, Slack and Teams messages
  • Call recordings and transcripts
  • Quotes and the passages behind each signal
  • Contact details beyond the client’s name
  • Mailbox and chat sign-in tokens

Syncs to your team

  • Client name and email domains
  • Health score, band, trend and chance of leaving
  • Reasons for a change, as labels
  • The weekly headline and suggested next step
  • Revenue figures come from billing and CRM, which connect in the cloud

Designed with these rules in mind

rltnship is designed to help you meet the obligations below by keeping personal data on the device and minimising what is shared. Using it does not by itself make you compliant; your own policies, notices and lawful basis still apply.
